Sister Wives' Gwendlyn Brown Calls Women Thirsting Over Her Dad Kody Brown a "Serious Problem"

Gwendlyn Brown is getting candid about the attention her dad Kody Brown received when the Sister Wives cameras weren't rolling.
The 21-year-old, whose mom is Kody's ex-partner Christine Brown, recently reflected on the early days of the TLC show, revealing how unsettling it was for her to see women pursuing her father.
"That was a serious problem with women just wanting my dad," Gwendlyn explained in a June 10 video on her YouTube Channel. "I had a teacher at one point, I had to switch classes because she was so creepy about it."
"She was weird, so weird," she continued. "I could tell you stories about her. She wasted half of an entire class just gossiping with me about how much she loved my family. And I'm like, 'I'm just trying to learn Spanish, lady!'"
The former reality star shared the story while rewatching a scene from a season two episode of Sister Wives in which Joy Behar, jokingly asked if she could be the TLC star's fifth wife while interviewing him and his then wives Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, Robyn Brown and Christine.
And while the show has given insight into Kody's life with his multiple wives, the Brown family has undergone many changes in recent years. Christine and Kody—who was never legally married—announced they had broken up in November 2021. The couple—who were also parents to kids Aspyn, 28, Mykelti, 27, Paedon, 24, Ysabel, 20, and Truely, 13— had been together for 25 years.
Today, Kody remains married only to Robyn as Janelle and Meri both revealed in the show's two-part special in December that they had separated from Kody. Meanwhile, Christine has found love once more as she shared in April that she is now engaged to David Woolley, two months after making their relationship public with a Valentine's Day post.
"I finally found the love of my life, David," Christine wrote at the time. "The first time he held me close, it felt like my soul took it's first breath. He's wonderful and kind, incredible with my children and an adorable grandpa. I never dreamed I could find a love like this."
As for Gwendlyn, she's been open about where she stands with her dad, giving an update on their relationship following his split from Christine earlier this year.
"It's very flip-floppy for me," Gwendlyn shared in the January 1 video. "‘Cause in-person, my dad's sweet to me now. We had our differences in the past, but we're getting better. And since we're not around each other as much, we can't really be angry with each other as much."
She also shared how rewatching old seasons of the show has affected her feelings.
"But when I watch the episodes, I do tend to dislike him a little bit," she added. "And I just have to remind myself that he's going through a difficult time and it's just hard on everybody and, you know, he's still my dad and he's still kind to me."
